“I don’t work at Houston’s anymore so here goes. One day, our greeter got a call from Christina’s people saying she was coming in. When she got there, the manager freaked out and told me I had the honor of waiting on her. I could have cared less, I’m not impressed by celebrities because I consider myself to be a star. First thing, she looks gorgeous in person. She’s so petite. Christina came in with her husband, Jordan. Jordan did most of the talking. Christina is very soft spoken and shy. They ordered French martinis and sipped them. They were both very nice. After dinner they left me a 35% gratuity on an $80. Two weeks later, Christina’s people called the restaurant again. This time they called and requested that I be their waiter. And so it went. Every time they came in for two years, they would request me as their server. And every time they came in, Christina ordered the same thing, the Chicken Tender Platter with a fully-loaded baked potato which she NEVER finished. Then they would split the Five Nut Brownie for dessert. I got to see how Christina and her husband interacted up close which is rare because they’re very private people. Jordan really takes care of Christina. He always seems to know what she needs. If she’s having trouble describing something she just looks at him and he’ll tell me exactly what she wants. It’s really cute. Jordan always paid, always. He’s a gentleman and he took care of his lady. No matter what their bill was, he tipped 35% every time. I’ve heard in prior visits, she (Christina) wasn’t as nice to the females. I’m told she prefers male servers but she was always nice to me.”
