Dee:

According to Billboard, the “Idol” finalist’s band, Daughtry, sold 3.2 million copies of their self-titled debut, making it the most popular album of the year. The group was followed by Akon, whose “Konvicted” sold 2.7 million; Fergie’s “The Dutchess,” which sold 2.4 million; the “Hannah Montana” soundtrack with 2.5 million copies sold; and 2005’s “American Idol” champ Carrie Underwood, whose “Some Hearts” sold 2.3 million copies.

John:
Congrats Chris. I’m going to celebrate your #1-ness by consoling #5 Carrie Underwood in this her darkest hour. Carrie, I know you wanted to be #1 but Chris-tard stole it from you. I’m so very sorry. Let’s have a drink.
